The Team:
Our swim team is comprised of swimmers of varying levels, grades and genders.
An athletes level of commitment can vary.
- Option 1 - Train weekly and swim for fun (no meets).
- Option 2 - Train weekly and compete in the meets.
- Option 3 - Don't train but still compete in the meets.
The swimming season begins in mid September and runs until mid November.
Training Dates/Times:
Tuesday - 7-8pm at SSIP
Thursday - 7-8pm at SSIP
Please note that there are no training sessions on holidays (Sept 30 & Nov 11).

Surrey Invitational Meet (B Swimmers Only) - Oct 3 @ Guildford Indoor Pool
South Fraser Championships - Oct 23 @ Watermania (Richmond)
Provincial Championships - Nov 14 & 15 @ Watermania (Richmond)

Fees & Team Gear:
Students will be required to pay an Athletic Fee ($25) which helps pay for registration with our local and provincial sport associations. Students will have the option to buy an Elgin swim cap for $15 directly from our athletic director. Students/families can also purchase other team gear (towels, hoodies, t-shirts, backpacks) via an online school store. |
