Four former Elgin Park Senior Soccer Stars faced off in Langley this past September when TWU hosted UBC. TWU's third year defender Brooklyn Tidder (grad 2015) was up against pacey goalscorer Danielle Steer (grad 2017) in this early season clash of CIS powerhouses. The two had a great battle all night, including a tussle in front of the TWU net late in the first half. Despite the heated exchange, the two former teammates and Fraser Valley Champions, laughed it off. Alyssa Hunt (grad 2015) and Emily Killam (grad 2017) did not dress due to injury. The hope is to see all four in action next time the two squads face off in late October at Thunderbird Stadium. Tre Leclaire - Field Lacrosse Star Shines in Ohio

A high school and university track sensation, Luc realized his Olympic dream by running in the 5000 metre race. We are all very proud of Luc and as we know how much time, effort and sacrifice he had to make to get to Rio. All the best in the future Luc! |
